Telephone Consultations

Being able to deal with your health issue over the telephone could save you a journey or the need to take time off work.

How to request a telephone triage call:

  1. If you are unable to use askmyGP, please telephone the practice between the hours of 8.00 am to 12.00 pm.  The receptionist will ask for your name, date of birth and a brief description of the problem in order for the GP to prioritise the call.
  2. If you are not calling from the number you wish to be called back on, please have the number ready to give to the receptionist.
  3. Due to the current pandemic situation, please do not come to the desk to request a call back, our receptionists are no longer able to accept call requests at the front desk.
  4. If you are limited by shifts or other work commitments when you ring us, please let the receptionist know – this will be noted and the GP will try to call you back at the most convenient time for you.
