Your appointment
However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email.
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel or change your appointment:
- Fill in an online form
- Phone us Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm on 01639 825265.
If you miss a booked appointment you will be sent a DNA (Did Not Attend) letter detailing the details of the appointment missed. If you receive 3 letters within a 12 month period you will be automatically removed from the practice register, which will mean you need to register with a new GP practice.
This policy is in place to protect the practice and patients from patients who are habitual non-attendees and take up appointments from other patients who need them.
If you need help when we are closed
If the situation is an emergency or life threatening, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

Home visits
If you require a home visit for yourself or someone you care for, please contact the surgery via AskmyGP or ring on 01639 825265 before 11.00 am if possible.
Home visits are for patients who are medically unable to attend the surgery or are housebound. Home visits are usually carried out anytime between 12.00 pm to 15.00 pm, unless the doctor determines an urgent visit is required.
Please provide as much information as possible regarding your medical problem when requesting a home visit in order for the doctor to determine the urgency of the call. You will also be asked to confirm your address and telephone number to ensure that the doctor visits the correct address.
