What to do next:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will be changing the way we hold vaccination clinics going forward, in order to follow the Welsh Government/Public Health Wales guidance and maintain social distancing as much as possible.  We will therefore ask the following of all patients:

1. A face covering must be worn by all patients who are aged 11 years and over, unless you have a reasonable reason not to wear one such as a physical or mental illness or because of a disability or impairment.  All staff will be wearing the appropriate PPE as guided by the Welsh Government.
2. Please arrive for your appointment on time
3. If you arrive early you will be asked to wait in your car or socially distance in the car park
4. If you arrive late we will have to cancel your appointment slot.
5. Please arrive alone for your appointment, unless you have a medical or physical need that requires someone to assist you
6.  When you arrive please give your name to the member of staff who will be waiting outside the front door (car park side of the building), they will direct you to who will be carrying out your vaccination.
7. You will be asked to take off any coats, jumpers etc ready for your vaccination whilst waiting, we therefore ask that you wear suitable clothing that will be quick to remove or easy to adjust to exposure your upper arm area in order for us to keep the clinics moving and maintain social distancing.  Please note: Saturday clinics will be held in the reception area of the building.
8. Please exit the building immediately after having your vaccination by following directions straight across the reception area and through the automatic doors at the back of the building facing the main road.

All appointments will need to be booked in advance, please contact the surgery via AskmyGP or the telephone 01639 825265.

If you are housebound and unable to make it to one of the above clinics but wish to have the vaccination, please let reception know.

Please remember the practice premises are only open to patients who have been asked to attend a specific appointment or asked to collect something from reception.  All other enquires or requests (including booking appointments) must be done either via askmyGP or telephone us on 01639 825265.

On the day of the vaccination, if you do develop any of the following symptoms a new persist cough/a high temperature/loss or smell or taste or if you are isolating due to contact or travel, please do not attend the practice.

Many thanks for your help and understanding during this very difficult time for everyone.
